Save Time With Magic Questions The words you use can instantly change your life for the better or the worse. The reason for this is that words are medium of communicating thoughts and ideas. By changing the words I use I have improved my life in countless manners. Different words make you see things differently. They get you better results with the people you deal with. This is really an extensive subject. My Magic Questions System deals with this in-depth and so does the awesome book by Ted Nicholas called, "Magic Words That Bring You Riches." An analogy for how the use of specific words or questions work is this. Mentally speaking a question is a road. Depending on what question you ask determines which mental road you will travel. Most people just stay on the same road over and over again and get the same results over and over again. If you want to get to your goal you simply have to take the right road or ask the right question. The problem is that many people don't even consider taking the journey. They assume that they cannot find their destination. To get to the destination you need to first want to get there and then use Magic Questions to get you there. I've recently made some major improvements in my life by simply asking questions of the right people. One problem I used to have was hating to do the Bookkeeping for my business. I tried using the software Quick Books. It was very complex and actually lengthened the time I needed to do my Bookkeeping compared to doing it by hand. The learning curve was just too steep. It was designed more for accountants than lay people. So I continued looking for answers. Then I went to the local Office Max and found a ledger for bookkeeping. I tried it out and it was much easier to do than Quick Books. The only problem with this was that I had to write everything in by hand over and over again for 52 weeks. I also had to do a lot of adding. To make a long story short it took me about 30 minutes per week or about 26.5 hours to do my bookkeeping for the entire year. So I basically dreaded doing it and put it off until absolutely necessary. Then the Magic occurred. I asked my accountant if there was any simple software to do my taxes with? I explained the difficulties I had with my other systems. Then he suggested that I use a Spreadsheet Program like Lotus or Microsoft Excel. He showed me how to set it up in less than 5 minutes. I took some notes and later that evening I quickly set it up. It was fantastic. The information was easy to enter. It did all the adding for me. And I already had the software. I didn't have to spend a dime extra for this system. That saves me about $20 per year for the other bookkeeping and filing systems I was previously using. But it did something much better. The Spreadsheet method is about 80% faster than the by hand method. That means that at most it will only take me 5.3 hours to do a year's bookkeeping. That alone just saved me 21.2 hours of boring work. I basically added two full working hour days to my year. Plus I enjoy doing it now. All this occurred because I asked the right person the right question. I wished I had asked my accountant this question 5 years ago when I first started working with him. Heck Spreadsheets have been around for at least 20 years. I could have been doing this simple system for the last 10 years at least. Business bookkeeping has always been a struggle for me. This makes it all very easy. Here's another quick example of how I am now saving myself time by having asked the right question. To make a long story short I had a problem where I had to manually enter a long list because of differences in formatting between the different software programs. This was becoming a real time waster. I was wasting at least an hour a week. Finally I got the bright idea to ask someone in the business if they had a software solution to my problem. This customer service person told me that I could use the find and replace feature in Microsoft Word. This was great because it was software that I already owned and I new how to use that feature. I just never thought of using it for this particular problem. This saves me at least 55 minutes per week for a year that's about 48 hours of time saved. Here's another story that saved me time and money with Magic Questions. I was normally taking my clothes to the laundry mat to be cleaned for me. I realized that I was wasting money by having someone do it for me. But I didn't really like doing the laundry. So one time I went out and did my laundry again. I didn't like it for several reasons. I was talking about this to my friend and he was mentioning that he did not like machines that were not top loading. I realized that I didn't like this either. It made the laundry more complicated and I wasn't sure how much I could stuff in the machines. Then he told me where he goes and that they have specials for only $1.00 per load from Tuesdays - Thursdays. So I did my laundry there and ended up enjoying it much more and at the same time saving $20 to $25 over having it done for me. Then I figured out one more thing that made the laundry a much quicker chore for me. For some reason I don't really enjoy folding and it takes me a while to do it. So I asked myself how I could make this go more quickly. The answer came instantly. Why don't I just hang all my shirts instead of folding them? Hanging is much quicker and easier for me. Plus I have lots of hangers. I've found this to be 15 minutes faster than my old way of doing my laundry. Over a year's worth of laundry I'll save 6 1/2 hours of time. Now I enjoy doing the laundry and I do it quicker than I ever have before saving me time and money. All told with these three improvements I am saving a minimum of $520 per year. Better than that is the amount of time I am saving. I just saved myself 76 hours of boring work by using the Magic Questions System. How can Magic Questions help you? |
